PertroFac and Silvertech Sign Memorandum of Understanding

PETROFAC FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, the leading Operations Management Specialist, and Silvertech Limited, the leading independent Control and Safety System Engineering Company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding committing to support each other in the development and execution of business opportunities.

Under the agreement the two companies will work together in developing and executing innovative technical solutions for mature assets on and offshore in the UK .

These skills are critical to Petrofac in the execution of safe, cost effective solutions for our clients with challenging assets to manage. The appeal of the two companies working together is in the complementary nature of their combined offering”.

Joe Quinn the Operations Director for Silvertech said “This relationship creates an excellent opportunity for both of us to use the technology now available to enhance performance and safety of the more mature assets we both work on. Silvertech being independent from the major equipment suppliers is able to bring the most appropriate technical solutions in front of Petrofac and the client”.

Petrofac and Silvertech having worked together on many assets in the North Sea , recognise this formal arrangement between the companies will significantly strengthen their joint offering to Operators in the UK Oil and Gas sector.
