Silvertech Wins a $30 Million USD Petrobras Contract

Silvertech Systems Inc. , based in Houston, a leading supplier of high integrity control and safety systems announced today that it has been awarded a major new full scope contract for leak detection systems on the oil pipelines and shuttle tankers used by Petrobras in Bacia de Campos , Brazil .

The project scope covers forty fixed platforms and Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, and up to forty shuttle tankers, all of which are to be fitted with state-of-the-art measuring equipment and computer systems for leak detection.

The contract includes services and equipment from a number of Brazilian companies, with overall design and contract management provided by Silvertech. Silvertech UK and Silvertech Systems will both be involved in the design and implementation of the system solution.

The contract awarded to Silvertech against major international competition represents another significant milestone in the growth and success of the organization.
